Thanks to the magic of Asian Poses, my most recent Interwebs fascination, I can come across looking perverted in front of my employees while simply enjoying a dose of whimsy. Not that I have any trouble looking perverted in front of my employees, anyway.
The website is basically a blog about the various overdone poses that young Asian girls like to throw up when they’re being photographed. Yes, the exact same poses that we expats in China have invariably mocked and parodied over the years. The blog’s creator, a Chinese guy named Steve (oh how there are so many of you out there) describes himself as thus:
My name is Steve and I enjoy blogging about Asian things (especially girls). I suffer from a condition known as the Cute Asian Girls Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (CAGOCD), which fuels much of my photo collecting. I also happen to be Chinese…so people can stop emailing me saying I have an Asian fetish or Asianphilia -_-;;
